Truck Customizers Enjoying Success

trucksIf you own a truck, there’s a good chance you’ve either customized it to showcase something about you or you’ve at least thought about doing that. There’s just something inherent about truck owners that makes them want to customize their vehicle.

That’s why Don McIntee, a Canadian resident, decided to get into the truck customization business. He opened a shop in Queen City in the Northgate Mall. He named his business the Sunface Truck Accessories. At first, it did fairly well in terms of business and customers. But after a couple years, it started to grow steadily. In fact, his son recently became a co-owner of the business and the father-son team is beginning to look into expanding and growing in the near future.

At first, McIntee’s business just concentrated on basics like step bars and chrome grills. But over the years, he’s expanded his options and he now offers a bunch of “shiny stuff” that he calls “bling.” He also has a large number of truck boxes and other practical features that truck owners generally want to add to their vehicle.

Sunface Truck Accessories has even gotten to the point to where they don’t need to order parts anymore. They usually have all the parts that a customer asks for because they can afford to stock them now. This makes customers happy because they can just stop in on a whim and get pretty much whatever they’re looking for. But if it’s something they don’t carry, McIntee is more than happy to order it for the customer.

In addition to parts, Sunface Truck Accessories also has a “tricked out” truck in the store for customers to look at and get ideas from. A 50-inch TV plays a DVD with the numerous products and options available for customers to purchase for their own trucks.

If you just purchased or if you’re thinking about purchasing a truck or SUV from your local GMC truck dealer, think about adding some of your own “bling” to it and show others what you’re all about. It’s not only a great way to show-off, it can also add a great deal of value to your truck.

Just about everyone I’ve ever known who owns a truck is all about adding style and falir with some truck accessories. You’re right in that it’s just something about the breed of person; they like to sit high above the road and let everyone check out their suspension upgrades!
